So Far, Onondaga County Has Paid $154,341 to Defend Pay Raise Lawsuit

The bill for a lawsuit over raises for county officials continues to grow. As of July 28, Onondaga County had paid $154,340.82 to outside lawyers to defend a lawsuit from another elected official. In January, County Comptroller Bob Antonacci sued 19 county officials over the raises approved last year.

A judge today allowed a lawsuit over pay raises for county officials to move forward, despite efforts by attorneys to quash it.
