Angie’s List Agrees to Pay $1.4 Settlement From Class Action Lawsuit

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Angie’s List has agreed to pay $1.4 million in settlement from a class action lawsuit that was filed last year, and a look at where Indiana’s community college system ranks.

The original complaint accuses Angie’s List of manipulating search results and reviews. The person who led the lawsuit said it wasn’t bad until she left a bad review for the contractor.

In other business headlines, Indiana’s community college system is ranked 42nd in the nation.

Wallethub said these two-year colleges are finally stepping up their game, at times even outperforming their traditional university counterparts.

In 22 states, community colleges have expanded to include four-year Bachelor’s Degree programs in high-demand field.
