FLINT, Mich. – Flint Mayor Karen Weaver scored a big victory in a Detroit courtroom this morning.
Her attorney Kendall Williams says a U-S district court judge threw out a lawsuit filed against the mayor and the city by former city administrator Natasha Henderson.
Henderson filed a motion that included claims involving the Whistleblower Act, retaliation and defamation, but the judge said there is no legal basis for the claims.
In a statement, Mayor Weaver called the allegations “ridiculous and completely false.”
Henderson’s attorney was unavailable to comment.
