If you were convinced drinking Vitaminwater — a Coca-Cola product — was improving your eyesight and leaving you more physically and mentally healthy, it might have been a placebo effect.
A court has approved a settlement agreement between Coca-Cola and the Center for Science in the Public Interest in a class-action lawsuit over the drink and the claims on its label.
Under the agreement, Coca-Cola will stop advertising health benefits from drinking the beverage and make clear that each drink contains about 32 grams of sugar.
