ORLANDO, FL ( WFLA ) – Florida has joined the list of states where voters have contested the results of the presidential election and requested a hand recount of paper ballots.
A lawsuit has been filed by attorneys from Clint Curtis & Associates in the 2nd Circuit Court in Leon County.
The complaint asserts that if the presidential votes had been counted properly, Hillary Clinton would have won in Florida and received the states’ 29 electoral votes.
The lawsuit calls into question the integrity of the vote count and questions malfunctioning of election voting equipment, legal voters being turned away at the polls, requested absentee ballots that were never mailed, and even Donald Trump’s assertion that a large number of illegal votes were counted.
The allegations in the lawsuit are supported by voter complaints and affidavits by computer scientists with expertise in electronic voting systems.
The complaint was filed Friday by attorney Sylvain R. Robitaille, managing Florida partner of Clint Curtis & Associates.
