A Memphis woman has filed a federal lawsuit regarding the Beale Street Bucks program and fast pass tickets.

In June, a cover charge was implemented for those over 21 years of age to get on Beale Street after hours on the weekend. The cost was $10, which includes $7 in vouchers.

The cover charge was put in place after a string of violent weekends on Beale.

The lawsuit claims the fee to enter the taxpayer-funded historic street is in violation of the constitution.
