A man is suing his ex-fiancée for a $125,000 engagement ring, which he claims she is refusing to give back.

Bradley Moss, 31, and Amy Bzura, 27, from Manhattan, were engaged for nearly a year but ended up breaking up before their wedding.

He has now demanded that she returns the emerald-cut diamond ring he gave to her, or its value in cash.

The couple had been dating for more than three years when Moss proposed to Bzura, who works in digital marketing, in November last year, the New York Post reported.

They had been due to get married at the end of October.

It is not clear why the wedding was suddenly called off, with court documents simply stating that ‘the marriage did not occur.’

Moss says he wrote to his former fiancée asking her to return the engagement ring, but claims she ‘has willfully and maliciously refused’.

The couple lived together in the Manhattan for over three years.

Both Moss and Bzura have been contacted for comment.

The couple had been due to get married at the end of October this year. It is not clear why the wedding was suddenly called off.
