Bills running back LeSean McCoy didn’t face criminal charges, but he’s still dealing with the effects of a February bar fight.

Two police officers who claim they were injured by McCoy in the altercation have now filed a civil lawsuit.

According to John Barr of ESPN.com, the suit was filed Tuesday morning in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, naming McCoy and three other men.

“Our investigation has confirmed that [officers] Darnell Jessie and Roland Butler were viciously attacked and beaten by LeSean McCoy and the additional defendants,”said Fortunato N. Perri Jr., the attorney for the officers involved in the incident. “As a result of the violent assault, both men have suffered serious and permanent injuries.”

The Recess Lounge, the after-hours club where the incident occurred, was also named as a defendant, saying they served McCoy and his friends “who were already visibly intoxicated.”

The NFL decided to not punish McCoy after a February bar fight, after completing its own investigation.
