Olympian Shaun White settled a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment and now he’s settled the lawsuit he filed against his insurance company over that case.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, White and Lloyd’s of London have “reached a settlement” in the case. The docs state that both sides plan to file the official request for dismissal documents in about a month.
As The Blast first reported, White sued his insurance company back in 2017. He claimed he had a $3 million policy with the company.
After White was sued by a former band member for failing to pay her properly — which she later amended to include allegations of sexual harassment — he filed a claim with Lloyd’s but they denied it.
Lloyd’s said that the claims the band member made in her lawsuit happened before the policy kicked in.
White settled the lawsuit with the bandmember back in May 2017 — terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
