‘It’s on the Mind’: Passengers on Flight That Crash Landed in Gander Filing Class-Action Lawsuit

Some passengers who were on a flight that crash landed at Gander International Airport last month are heading to court. The Air Canada Express Flight AC7804, being operated by Exploits Valley Air Services (EVAS), crash landed during an April snowstorm, breaking off its front landing gear. Frank Sheppard, one of the passengers on board the flight, says life has been “strange” since the crash.

Brentwood Opts Out of Bingo Lawsuit

Another major non-profit agency has opted-out of a multi-million dollar class action lawsuit filed against the City of Windsor and Town of Tecumseh. Officials with Brentwood Recovery Home made the decision Tuesday night. Both municipalities launched a campaign urging charities to opt out of the lawsuit, one the city says will cost tax payers an estimated $70-million.
