The Game Loses Sexual Assault Lawsuit, Ordered to Pay $7 Million to Priscilla Rainey

The Game has lost the sexual assault lawsuit filed against him by Priscilla Rainey , who alleged the rapper forcibly touched her genitals while she was a contestant on his 2015 reality dating show, “She’s Got Game.” The rapper will have to pay $7.13 million to his accuser.

An Illinois jury found The Game liable for damages earlier this week after spending four days deliberating on the case. As Gossip Cop reported, Rainey filed a $10 million sexual assault lawsuit in August 2015, claiming the rapper repeatedly abused her while filming a scene for his show in a bar. The woman alleged that during the shoot, he was “forcefully reaching his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks.” Although the judge denied Rainey’s request to access The Game’s financial records, he’ll still have to fork over millions. However, the rapper reportedly plans to appeal the court’s decision.

The rapper’s VH1 reality show “She’s Got Game,” which premiered last year, featured The Game enlisting 10 of his celebrity friends, including Keyshia Cole, Ray J and Fat Joe, to help him find love. Although the news broke earlier this week that The Game had lost the sexual assault lawsuit, TMZ was the first to report on Monday that he’s been ordered to pay $7.13 million in damages.
