(St. Paul, MN) — With early voting in Minnesota starting in less than two weeks, Secretary of State Steve Simon is urging the state Supreme Court to decide a D-F-L lawsuit by Monday. That suit seeks to block Donald Trump from Minnesota’s presidential ballot. Republicans call it “a blatant and frivolous attempt to disenfranchise voters.” Simon says counties have already printed about one-million general election ballots. The court has already questioned the timing of the lawsuit’s filing.
