HONOLULU (AP) — Another lawsuit has been filed against the sushi restaurants that served scallops that are the likely source of Hawaii’s hepatitis A outbreak.

A class-action lawsuit was filed Tuesday on behalf of those who got vaccinated because they ate at Genki Sushi during the exposure period or had contact with someone who was sickened. Seattle-based attorney Bill Marler says the lawsuit seeks reimbursement for the cost of the shot, lost wages and other expenses.

He filed a lawsuit last week on behalf of an Oahu resident who got sick.

Health officials identified frozen scallops served raw at the sushi chain as the outbreak’s probable source.

Genki Chief Administrative Officer Mary Hansen declined to comment on pending litigation.

More than 200 people have been sickened by the virus in Hawaii.
