Harbor Freight Customers May Get Refunds After Class Action Lawsuit

Harbor Freight, a national tool and equipment retailer with more than 750 stores nationwide, has settled a class-action lawsuit which could get shoppers up to 30 percent back on their purchases. If you made a purchase at Harbor Freight between April 8, 2011 and Dec. 15, 2016, you could receive benefits from the settlement. A court granted preliminary approval of the settlement on Dec. 15, 2016.

The family of a Gig Harbor man killed a year ago by a falling tree filed a wrongful death lawsuit Thursday against eight companies involved with logging the site where the tree fell.
